Position: Level 3 WINTEL System Administrator

Salary: 80K

Location: Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City

Job Description:
To provide advanced to expert support for a Microsoft Windows based server infrastructure within one of Merlin’s Infrastructure support teams and support a global server farm, they will be expected to join project teams for optimization of the infrastructure and operations (deployment and usage of new tool and process introduction, software tool upgrades)

Summary of Responsibilities:

• They will solve advance to expert issue with Microsoft Windows Server technology, classify and escalate other issues to other senior team members on site or refer to on call
• They will be responsible for resolving all issues at HW and OS level on our Microsoft Windows based server farm and operate our support tools like NAGIOS, WSUS, SCCM etc etc
• They will lead projects on server support activities (tool deployments, tool upgrades)
• Update Incident tickets

Requirements:

• 3-5 years Windows Server 2003/2008 management experience, including awareness of Terminal Services, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
• Good understanding of Microsoft ISA / SQL 2005/2008 / WSUS / SCCM solutions
• Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007
• Good understanding of Citrix platforms
• 1-3 years HP EVA management experience
• 1-3 years Symantec NetBackup / BackupExec experience

Advantageous:

• Remote management experience is respected
• Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 experience is respected
• Microsoft Sharepoint experience is respected
• VMWARE VSphere, LINUX and UNIX experience is respected

• Microsoft ISA / WSUS / SCCM
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008
• Citrix Metaframe XP, Presentation Server 4.0, 4.5
• Symantec NetBackup / BackupExec
• Good understanding of TCP/IP based networks
• HP/Dell hardware experience is respected
