Senior Javascript Engineer
Location: Makati City

Qualification:

  • more than 4 years working with JavaScript
  • have at least 2 years experience on working with JQuery ( with Mustache is a plus)
  • able to work with AJAX or JsonP with JSON based messaging
  • has good communication skills with strong command of the English language.
  • opportunity to work as a technical lead

Primary Responsibility:

  1. Lead the engineering team based in the Philippines, hiring and managing local developers.
  2. Effectively work with customers in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  3. Effectively work with product managers and other team members to identify and understand, functional and technical requirements for new features and for feature enhancements.
  4. Analyze requirements and create highly innovative software designs and solutions.
  5. Development of quick prototypes and proof of concepts to describe and demonstrate software designs.
  6. Make design decisions that you are able to defend to your team on the basis of multiple aspects of quality including meeting business requirements, performance, ease of deployment, and maintainability.

Other Responsibility:

  1. Test software including defining and supporting acceptance testing and gathers feedback from pre-release testers.
  2. Participate in the software release and pre-release activities. Post-release activities include support for product launch.
  3. Investigate and fix product issues identified in released software.
  4. Work on multiple projects with the ability to change direction quickly based on business drivers.
